“What’s Galentine’s Day? It’s only the best day of the year!”
We, at TCC, tend to agree. Galentine’s was popularised by the character of Leslie Knope in the programme Parks and Recreation, and now it’s a thing everywhere!
Leave the significant others at home – Galentine’s is for friends and friends only! Taking place on February 13th, Galentine’s is now a celebration of the love between friends rather than couples. And we have to say, we absolutely bloody love it!
There’s loads of brilliant ways to get in the spirit and celebrate Galentine’s like it’s the biggest event of the year. Here are some of our favourites:
- Wine and Chocolate Night
Need we say more? Each member of your crew brings a bottle of their favourite wine and a box of their favourite chocolates. Stick on a film or two and gorge yourselves! This is a cute and low-key way to bond with your friends and treat yourselves a little. And who wouldn’t be up for a little bit of a drinking game while you watch Clueless?
- Bottomless Brunch
As if we need to convince you that bottomless brunch is a good idea. Gather everyone up for bottomless prosecco, Bloody Mary’s, along with some delicious breakfast plates, and toast to the friendships between all of you! Some of our favourite brunches in London include the Chotto Matte Harajuku Brunch, the Waffles and Bubbles Bottomless Brunch at Duo Shoreditch, and the Electro Brunch Feast at Gaucho (which also includes bottomless food!)
Tried all of the bottomless brunches around? Sick to death of avocado toast? If you’re looking for a new way to brunch, check out TCC’s take on it – SHAKEEOKE!
- Mixology Classes
Take it from us, these are SO much fun. You get to drink whilst being educated – what more could you ask for? Not to mention that by the end of a cocktail masterclass, you’ll be ready to impress all your guests at your next dinner party by whipping up your own espresso martinis.
And in case you didn’t know… we can help you out with this one! The Cocktail Club’s cocktail masterclasses are legendary, including a welcome drink, one-on-one time with one of our bartenders, and the chance to learn and make three of your favourite cocktails. Find out more here.
One of our favourite parts of TCC is watching friends reunite for a night of raucous fun and laughter that they’ll never forget. So why not round up your crew to make Leslie Knope proud and celebrate friendship at TCC?
